HOLE has been following Kitasavi’s work for quite some time. Inspired by objects, textures, and color one would find in a city meshed with contemporary art and fantasy, his works are complex, abstract, and at times otherworldly. A graphic designer turned artist, Kitasavi is finally able to create the maximalist art he wants to for a living and has developed a strong following within the NFT space. We spoke with him about improvisation, perfectionism, and becoming an artist full-time.
